Kristen Holland
Burgess
Director
Kristen acquired a B.A. in Business Psychology from Christopher Newport University, while studying dance at Old Dominion University. She has taught dance in the local area for 12 years. While attending CNU, Kristen was a member of the performing dance team as well as choreographed dance portions for area productions. Kristen has also participated in various dance conventions on the East coast and developed award winning choreography. Her choreography has won Best Talent in national pageants and Most Entertaining at Dance Competitions. As a certified group exercise instructor/pilates instructor through the Red Cross and the YMCA, Kristen is certified in CPR and AED. |

Lauren Sinclair
Lauren Sinclair is a graduate of the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C., an international residential training program for dancers. During her three years there, she studied under Alla Sisova, Ludmila Morkovina and Nikolai Morozov. She attended summer programs at American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and Ballet Austin. Lauren was a trainee with Ballet Austin before returning to the local area to dance with Virginia Ballet Theatre (VBT) in 2003. Her professional performances include The Nutcracker, Flower Festival in Genzano, Con Amore, Serenade, Allegro Brilliante, Raymonda, Spiritual to Gospel, Dracula, Appalachian Spring, Il Distratto, Carnival of the Animals, Irish Ode, Coppélia, and Cinderella. Lauren received her Bachelor degree from Old Dominion University in Communication and Psychology, and is also a Registered Yoga Teacher. In addition to performing, Lauren teaches dance at TR Dance and Academy of Dance. |

Lora Saunders
Ballet/Pointe Instructor
Lora is a graduate from the Governor’s
School of Performing Arts. She
has participated in various ballet productions including La Bayadere,
Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, and Swan Lake. She was also a
member of the cast of Virginia Ballet Theatre’s production
of the Nutcracker for two seasons. Prior to her time at Governor’s
School she trained in area studios for 11 years. During
her time at these studios she competed at various competitions
and won awards ranging from Most Beautiful Dancer to Junior Sweetheart. She
is certified in First-Aid, CPR, and AED. |

Tara Muth
Ballet, Tap, Jazz & Acro Rhythmic Dance
Tara began her dance training 11 years ago in local dance studios. She is currently seeking a degree in Dance Education at Old Dominion University. Tara has competed on the Dynamic Dance Team for 5 years. She has won the best overall title at nationals & the grand champion title at regional's. She has performed in several community shows and productions. Tara has perfected her dance ability by taking class with dance greats such as Barry Youngblood, Duffy Johnson, and Dustin Phillips.In her spare time Tara is currently taking the teacher cadet course working with children. Tara has completed her Dynamic Movements Teaching Certificate. |

Lacey Tuttle
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, & Acro Rhythmic Dance
Lacey is currently taking classes in early childhood development and is working to become a school teacher. Lacey has been studying dance at local dance schools for 10 years. She has competed with the Dynamic Dance Team for 3 years. Lacey has competed in solo & group divisions winning many gold and platinum awards as well as earning the champion of the day title. She has also performed in various productions in the area. In her spare time she expands her dance knowledge by taking local workshops taught by the area’s best! Lacey has completed her Dynamic Movements Teaching Certificate. |

Amanda Solberg
Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz
Amanda Solberg has received her B.A.in Dance Education at Old Dominion University. She is a currently employed at Bush Gardens, dancing in the new Sesame Street production. Amanda has danced in studios in Virginia and Florida where she competed for 13 years. Amanda holds a Best Talent Title for her own performances, and her Choreography has been selected to appear in showcases for Old Dominion University Productions. She is also CPR-certified. |

Christie LaConga
Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz
Christie LaCongo will be a graduate of the University at Buffalo in May 2010, with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in dance. At UB, she is a member of Zodiaque Dance Company, director of student run show Dancer’s Workshop, tap teaching assistant, and student representative of the dance department. She has performed with Zodiaque Studio Dance Ensemble and Emerging Choreographers Showcase in addition to Zodiaque Dance Company and Dancer’s Workshop. Christie has been trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Pas de Deux, Social Dance, Improvisation, Voice, and Acting at the University at Buffalo. Most recently, she has danced professionally with Spirit Productions in “Le Grand Cirque” and “Masters of Magic” in Niagara Falls, Canada and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Christie has also been dance captain and performed at Busch Gardens Europe in “American Jukebox” and “Kinetix” in Williamsburg, Virginia. She has performed with Six Flags in “Bugs Bunny and Friends Going Hollywood” and “Dead Man’s Party” as well. In the 2010 season, Christie will be the Senior Supervisor of Dance for Busch Gardens Europe. Dancing is Christie’s passion and she always looks forward sharing it with everyone she can! |

Donna Ranzy
Donna has been associated with Gymnastics for over 15 years. She holds certifications in adult, child and infant CPR, First Aid, USAG Progessional Membership, USAG Safety Certivication and USAG Meet Director. She attended several USAG Regional Congress shows and is mother and former coach of an Olympic level gymnast who's accomplishments were 2006 Worlds Selection Camp Team Member, 2008 Olympic Trails Team member and 2-time USAG National Team Member plus various other titles. She loves coaching and has been associated with some of the best coaches in the country which helped her to develop her style. |

Katie Inmaman
Katie has a BFA in illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. She began taking dance when she was very young even performing in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond. Throughout high school and college she continued her training in LA and NY with some of the top dancers and choreographers in the country. Katie has over 10 years of teaching experience at many top ranked studios in both MI and VA specializing in Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop. She has won numerous special awards including, best choreography, most entertaining and top overall score at various local and national competitions. Her students have made appearances on Good Morning America, Showtime at the Apollo and Disney. Most recently you may have seen her choreography in the 2008, 2009 Miss Virginia Pageants. Katie is excited to share her love of dance and choreography with the students at Dynamic Movements. |

Diandra Davis
Diandra will graduate from Old Dominion University
this summer with her Dance Education Degree. Diandra currently teaches classes for the YMCA. She has also choreographed and taught at several local dance studios. She moved to Virginia to further her education
in dance, Diandra grew up in a studio where she competed and won several awards. Diandra enjoys teaching Modern, Jazz, and Hip Hop. |

Shawna McLauLaughlin
Shawna began her dance training attending
Maureen’s School of Dance until her high school graduation. Currently,
she is a student at Old Dominion University seeking her BA in Dance. While at Old Dominion, she has performed in faculty pieces showcased in seasonal dance concerts and has presented some of her choreography in the Annual Student Choreography Showcase. After graduation, she intends to become licensed as a physical therapy assistant |

Jurijs Safonovs
Ballet Instructor
Jurijs Safonovs has been a principal dancer at the Virginia Ballet Theatre and Lativan National Opera. He has danced in the following productions “Nutcracker”, “Coppelia”, “Dracula” ,“Sleeping Beauty”, “Romeo & Juliet”, “Cinderella”, “Sinatra Suite”, “Serenade”, “Allegro Brilliante”, “Combat”, “Don Quixote”, “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, “La Sylfide”, “Les Sylfide”, “Le Corsaire”, “La Bayadere”, “Spectre de la Rose”, “Scheherezade”, “Raymonda Variations”, “Paquita”, “Firebird”. Jurijs also received a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical & Modern Ballet Dance from Riga’s National Choreographic Collage located in Lativa. |

Sarah Kennedy
Sarah is a registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and received a certification through Yoga Fit which consists of a 200 hr training program.
Dani Rubino
Dani is a certified Pilates instructor through Physical Mind and has 6 years teaching experience in Pilates.
